2006, Jan 25 (Wed) - Tet?

Tet is on my doorstep, knockin' on the door with a smile.

I'm here inside, hands trembling & heart throbbing.

What was behind my original plan has now changed. Work is up to my ears. After all, the mood is just not right.

Still I'll have to take the flight.

2006, Jan 18 (Wed) - To someone

To someone who used to eat leaves... This photo I took...

To where you are ... This song I am sending...

Who can say for certain

Maybe you're still here

I feel you all around me

Your memory's so clear

Deep in the stillness

I can hear you speak

You're still an inspiration

Can it be

That you are my forever love

And you are watching over me

From up above

Fly me up to where you are

Beyond the distant star

I wish upon tonight

To see you smile

If only for a while

To know you're there

A breath away's not far

To where you are

Are you gently sleeping

Here inside my dream

And isn't faith believing

All power can't be seen

As my heart holds you

Just one beat away

I cherish all you gave me

Everyday

'Cos you are my forever love

Watching me from up above

And I believe that angels breathe

And that love will live on and never leave

Fly me up to where you are

Beyond the distant star

I wish upon tonight

To see you smile

If only for awhile

I know you're there

A breath away's not far

To where you are

...

To you far away up high Image

2006, Jan 15 (Sun) - Love and Care

I've just realized that love and care are two different things. Not even close.

There are times when you care for someone but you don't love him. Love with its most basic meaning, I mean. Right, just a strategy to reach your personal goals, perhaps.

There are times when you love but you don't care enough. That sounds unreasonable, but things do happen for reasons. Selfishness can win sometimes, unexpectedly.

I wonder whether we always tend put our ego first? Is there a so-called selfless good deed? Is there a love where you care for others more than yourself (not always though, to be practical)? Have you ever hated yourself as much as I do now...

2006, Jan 16 (Mon) - Colors and Faith

What are the colors in life that you can see?

You think love is red. Love can be grey if you lose yourself and are too dependent on it.

You think peace is blue. Blue might have been mixed with red and black, with love and hate, with deaths and lives, with happiness and tears before peace is achieved.

And you think black is black. In fact, you will find any bright color in black if you believe you can. You can turn things around if you don't surrender. You can find luck somewhere after mishaps if you have faith. Black wouldn't be black by then. What will follow depends on your faith.

Life is a spectrum of colors.

2006, Jan 13 (Fri) - "You had a bad day"

Where is the moment we needed the most

You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

They tell me your blue skies fade to grey

They tell me your passion's gone away

And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low

You're faking a smile with the coffee to go

You tell me your life's been way off line

You're falling to pieces everytime

And I don't need no carryin' on

'Cos you had a bad day

You're taking one down

You sing a sad song just to turn it around

You say you don't know

You tell me don't lie

You work at a smile and you go for a ride

You had a bad day

The camera don't lie

You're coming back down and you really don't mind

You had a bad day

You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday

The point is they laugh at what you say

And I don't need no carryin' on

Sometimes the system goes on the blink

And the whole thing turns out wrong

You might not make it back and you know

That you could be well oh that strong

And I'm not wrong

So where is the passion when you need it the most

Oh you and I

You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

Daniel Powter - BAD DAY

2006, Jan 12 (Thur) - Keep lookin' fwd...

... to the Tet holiday!

In my situation, staying here definitely wouldn't be a good plan to celebrate the Lunar New Year. It was just fun to be here every year on this occasion, but the sacred and indescribable feeling when we usher in the new year was nowhere to be found...

Mmm...

Despite the fact that it's been raining almost non-stop for the last 6 days Image...

Despite the fact that tomorrow is Fri the 13th...

... I'm glad that I have sth to look forward to, with joy and excitement...

My Tet holiday back home after 3 yrs Image!

2006, Jan 09 (Mon) - Back to school

Study-a-holic? Not really my type. Smiling though...

God knows why Image.

2006, Jan 07 (Sat) - Ta da ta da...

Gonna talk nonsense here for the sake of talking nonsense...

Things didn't turn out right at the beginning of the year. 2, 3 pieces of bad news came in a row, which made me sometimes feel as if I'd been so exhausted that I was about to fall. But everyday would be the same if you didn't mean to make it different.

:::::::

An evening spent shopping wasn't bad. I'd never liked shopping at all, and I'd remained the same even though others told me it was weird when a girl didn't like shopping (?!). Things may change when you're upset. Right, walking aimlessly in a sea of unknown people helped me think that I was really doing sth else but sitting alone & suffering from depression.

:::::::

Walking in the rain, with mud splashing onto the feet, may not sound crazy at times. After all, it was sth different that kept me from thinking about the bad stuff.

:::::::

Burying yourself in books might be better than 'sticking' your life to the computer. Books have their own world that the Internet, with wateva vivid stuff it offers, won't ever be able to create. A morning running between seemingly countless bookshelves would bring you to a world of silent interests.

:::::::

Just took a test sent by a friend today: "What's your true color?". The result showed:

Green

You're green, the color of growth and vigor. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth color in the spectrum — reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your color!

I'm old (lu. khu.) enough to know that every color it states would sound wonderful. In the end, the test is meant to encourage people & help them find confidence in themselves. It sounds flattering to me, but sometimes we human do like hearing flattering words though we know for sure it really is flattery. Ridiculously, they make me feel good at this very short moment. Did I just say the aim of the test is...? Well, it does its job.

:::::::

Ultimately, everyday wouldn't be the same if you don't want it to be. Things didn't turn out right, but I'm gonna make 'em right. It's time I was ga^'u again.

2006, Jan 03 (Tue) - Transparency

May it be a year of transparency.

Hope to understand certain things that still remain unanswered.
